According to research, having a lazy weekend is worse for your weight than working all week at a desk.
Exercise scientists reported that a 20-minute reduction in sedentary time during the weekend led to a loss of more than two pounds and a 1.6% of body fat after one year. However the same association was not seen with sedentary time during the weekdays.
