Obesity Prevention: The Sugar Tax

Cancer Research UK and the UK Health Forum have estimated that a 20% tax on sugary drinks in the UK could prevent 3.7 million people becoming obese over the next decade.

Not only could obesity rates be cut, but the NHS could save £10m a year by 2025 through the sugar tax.
