Figures released by Diabetes UK show that 700 people a day are diagnosed with diabetes in the UK – one person every two minutes. The charity says people often say their diagnosis leaves them isolated and with unanswered questions.
To help people get a better understanding of their diabetes and to share great tips and handy hints fro those living with the condition, Diabetes UK has launched a campaign and free book, ‘100 things I wish I’d know about living with diabetes’, which is written by people living with diabetes for people living with diabetes, their families and friends.
