Favouring Flavonoids

Researchers have found that eating fruit and vegetables rich in flavonoids may prevent obesity. It is suggested that a diet high in flavonoids may lead to a decrease in energy intake, decrease in fat absorption or increase glucose uptake in muscle.

Foods with high levels of flavonoids include apples, pears, berries and peppers.
